How to set up Single Sign-On (SSO)

There are various different single sign-on options supported for Room Booking. Each of which provides user access to the system without needing to enter a separate username or password on every visit.

Note: SSO is only available for users. Administrators always log in via their own separate URL using a username and password.

Note: new users are (if you wish) created on Room Booking when they log in for the first time via your chosen single sign-on service. If your system already has  existing Room Booking users at the point you decide to use SSO these may be duplicated if their existing username does not match the username in your SSO. If this is the case, contact us at schoolcloud@tes.com with a spreadsheet of the users that need to be changed, including the existing username and the desired username, and we can change this for you
